Fruit Kabobs with an Orange Yogurt Dip

Yogurt fruit dips recipes, such as this one, are so pretty at buffet tables, and are always well received. You can use whichever fruits you like to make the kabobs but makes sure they are seedless or have their stones taken out. An assortment of colorful fruit pieces works well.

The yogurt dip is made with yogurt, cream cheese, coconut, orange, and honey for a wholesome flavor. Dips at parties are a lot of fun and there are lots of sweet easy party appetizers you can make as well as the savory dips you might be more familiar with. Why not make some of each, so your guests can choose from a sweet or savory flavor or even both?

There are simpler yogurt fruit dip recipes than this one but imagine the creaminess of cream cheese, the sweetness of orange yogurt, the tang of orange peel and the sweetness of honey, all mixed together, because that is what this one will taste like. The fruit kabobs can be as colorful as you want. This is one of our healthy appetizer recipes and it is so easy to make. You just need to construct the kabobs and stir together the dip ingredients.

Simple Yogurt Fruit Dip Recipes

Ingredients -

16 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup grated coconut
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons grated orange peel plus a long shred to garnish
16 oz orange flavor yogurt
20 cherries, pitted
20 blackberries
20 green, seedless grapes
20 black, seedless grapes
1 orange, cut into wedges
10 bamboo skewers

Preparation:

Beat the cream cheese, and then beat in the yogurt.

Stir in the honey, orange peel and honey.

Thread the fruit on to bamboo skewers, alternating the fruits and having an orange wedge at the end of each skewer.

Serve the dip in a bowl with some shredded orange peel on top as a garnish and the fruit kabobs around it.
