Butter-Fry Shrimp

Ingredients -

1 pound of large shrimp
4 ounces of salted butter
Basil
Thyme
Parsley
Lemon Salt
Pepper
Ground or crushed red chili pepper
Garlic
Assorted vegetables (red bell pepper, cauliflower, string beans, broccoli, cherry tomatoes)

Preparation:

To begin, place the cauliflower, string beans, and broccoli into a pot with a small amount of water at the bottom. Steam the vegetables lightly until they are crispy.

Chop the garlic as small as possible, and do the same for the thyme and parsley. Add the crushed red pepper, lemon salt, pepper, and basil as well. Liquefy the butter in a saucepan and add it to the herbs and spices to make the butter base for the shrimp.

Once the butter is mixed in properly, roll the shrimp around inside of it until each shrimp is thoroughly coated in the mixture.

Heat a skillet on the stove, and place the shrimp on the skillet to fry. Only fry until the shrimp are properly cooked.

Once the shrimp is cooked, place three or four shrimp on each plate. Use the remaining butter mixture to lightly stir fry the steamed vegetables, infusing them with the flavors of the butter mixture.

Serve the buttery vegetables on the plate, pouring some of the melted butter over the top of the shrimp and veggies. Add the fresh vegetables to the plate, ensuring that the bell pepper is chopped into medium slices that will be easy to eat.

Sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper on top of the dish, and serve.
