Burger Bites and More - Oven Broiled Burger Bites

If you have a number of easy party appetizers to prepare, you can make these oven broiled burgers ahead of time. They will stay fresh in the refrigerator until you want to broil them. Make ahead appetizers are always handy when you have different things to make and you do not want to make everything at the last minute.

Ensure you use small plum tomatoes because the slices fit nicely on these little burgers. Regular size burgers are too filling for easy party appetizers but making mini burgers means you get all the flavor in a smaller portion. You can serve these burger bites and more at a children's party or even as a cute appetizer at a mixed or adult gathering because they are popular with all ages. They are still quite filling though so only give people one each if you expect them to eat a main course too!

Serve any garnish you like with these miniature burgers. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayonnaise, sweet relish, crispy bacon, and cheese slices are all good. People can help themselves to the garnishes they want with their mini burgers. Serve the burgers hot for the best results. You can serve them cold but hot burgers are much nicer.
