Raw Spinach Wraps with Turkey and Onions

This is a healthy spinach wrap flatbread recipe and tortillas are filled with a cream cheese mixture, as well as fresh spinach and turkey ham, chilled, and cut into attractive pinwheels. If you are looking for cold appetizers ideas, this one is always popular at parties. These turkey spinach wraps take mere minutes to make but they should chill for at least five hours so that they hold their shape when you cut them, so make sure you start preparing them in plenty of time. If you like make ahead appetizers, you will enjoy this recipe.

You might want to warm the tortillas for a few seconds in the microwave before filling them. This makes them easier to roll up and less likely to split when rolling them tightly. When you fill them, arrange most of the ingredients on one side, so when you roll them up the center of the pinwheels contains more of the ingredients. This is more visually attractive. The colorful combination of spinach, cream cheese, turkey ham and more is very appealing but you could also add other ingredients if you like, such as pineapple, tomatoes, bell pepper or sliced olives. Feel free to be creative with these raw spinach wraps, adding anything that you think will complement the overall look and flavor.

These easy party appetizers look good and taste even better. They are pleasantly satisfying without being too filling and your guests will like the fact that they can see what the filling is before they take one, unlike some other holiday appetizer recipes where the filling is hidden or enclosed in pastry or bread.
