The Best Sweet Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients -

1 package cornbread muffin mix
3 tablespoons sugar
¼ cup milk
1 beaten egg
Whipped honey butter, to serve

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine the cornbread muffin mix with the sugar, milk, and egg and stir until all the ingredients are moist.

Spread this batter into a greased 2 quart rectangular baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.

To test if it is ready, insert a toothpick into the center.

If it comes out clean, the cornbread is done.

Let it cool on a rack, then cut it into small pieces and spread each one with some honey butter.

Serve warm.
