Italian Cheese and Pepperoni Appetizer

Ingredients -

2 packs crescent rolls
4 eggs
1 ½ cups cooked ham
3 teaspoons dry Italian dressing mix
1 cup Swiss cheese
12 oz roasted sweet peppers
8 slices provolone cheese
3 oz pepperoni
¼ cup parmesan

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Dice the ham finely, shred the Swiss cheese, grate the parmesan, chop the pepperoni, and cut the red peppers into thin strips.

Spray non stick cooking spray on the bottom and sides of a 13 x 9 inch baking pan and put one pack of crescent rolls on the bottom and an inch up the sides, sealing any perforations in the crescent roll dough.

Put half the ham on top, then the Swiss cheese, pepperoni, and provolone cheese in layers, finishing with the remaining ham.

Put the red pepper on top.

Put the eggs in a bowl and whisk in the Italian dressing mix and parmesan.

Set aside ¼ cup of this mixture and pour the rest over the pepper strips.

Roll the second crescent roll dough out into a 13 x 9 inch rectangle on a lightly floured board, sealing any perforations.

Put this dough in the pan on top of the other ingredients, pinching the edges to seal.

Cover the pan with an oven safe lid or aluminum foil and bake until golden.

This will take about 22 minutes.

Let the cheese and pepperoni appetizer cool for a few minutes, then cut into bite size pieces and serve.
